Our AIMS are to study and list all Salmon Postcard production since August 1900 to the present day.   Members study the artists who were featured on the Watercolour and Fancy cards; varieties and back types are also noted.  The company has also produced over 50,000 photographic postcards and listings of these are regularly updated.  The company prints postcards for the home market and has printed for publishers in Bermuda, the Bahamas, Gibraltar and other foreign countries.  Other company products have included books, guide books, greetings cards, notelets, calendars, diaries, slides, placemats, jigsaws, and even bridge score cards.  We produce a number of card lists and the annual Members List gives collectors' interests.  Most of our subscription is spent on an excellent quarterly newsletter covering all aspects of Salmon production.

There are also annual outings which include visits to the Salmon works in Sevenoaks where it is fascinating to see the new equipment they buy to meet the needs of our modern day and we visit areas which were illustrated by artists such as A.R.Quinton (Worcestershire, North Wales, Kent, Sussex, etc.) and W.W.Quatremain (Stratford-on-Avon).  Although we are on good terms with the company, there is no other connection.

So if this whets your appetite and you are interested in joining our group the annual subscription is £10, cheque payable to the Salmon P.C. Study Group please.
