Is there some way in which members can post images of postcards in topics?

This would be useful for those who are searching for particular types of cards.

When I went to the London Postcard Fair in October, I wanted to show dealers the type of card I was after, and took an example around with me, as it was much simpler than trying to describe it. The same would apply in the "Postcard Wants" section of this website.

A picture is worth a thousand words, as they say.

I think Mike had to disable BB code when we were being bombarded with spam postings - it may be possible for him to reinstate it now, no doubt he'll be along shortly and let you know.

Obviously not a good idea when you've got people posting spam on the site! ..but now things are under control we can perhaps give it a try...

I tried the image, but I couldn't get it to work I must be doing something wrong. The "url" seems to work ok though.

Andrew - that seems to be a link to a web page rather than to a specific image.
